Travel Planning Assistant

Project Overview

Wanderlust aimed to simplify travel planning by creating an AI-powered assistant that could handle the complexity of multi-destination trips, group coordination, and budget management.

The Challenge

Travel planning was fragmented across multiple platforms, causing frustration and decision fatigue. Users spent an average of 12 hours planning a single trip. Group travel coordination was particularly painful, with 67% of users reporting conflicts and confusion.

The Solution

I designed an intelligent travel planning assistant that consolidates research, booking, and coordination in one place. The platform features collaborative itinerary building, AI-powered recommendations, and real-time budget tracking. I introduced a visual timeline interface that makes complex trips easy to understand.
